Coffee is a fruit. It naturally contains sugar in the form of sucrose and fructose.
Sweetness descriptors are often characterized by flavours of fruits, honey, chocolate and caramel.
Acidic taste of of coffee may include those of fruits such as lemon, grapefruit, apple and berries.
Good coffee would have pleasant rather than harsh acidity which provides brightness in a cup of coffee. Coffee with low acidity would have more prominent flavours of chocolate, nuts and even herbs.
Flavour is the taste sensations in coffee. To what extent can you taste the flavour profiles suggested on each of our products? Does the coffee taste strongly of macadamia nuts, or just a hint?
Body or mouthfeel describes how the coffee feels in your mouth. Is it light, syrupy, creamy? Does the texture remind you of tea, maple syrup, honey, or milk?
